Its advanced architecture supports two Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) for wired connections, while the wireless section offers dual bands with two chains for 2.4 GHz and two for 5 GHz, complying with 802.11b/g/n standards for the lower band and 802.11ac for the higher band, with integrated antennas providing 2 dBi gain for 2.4 GHz and 2.5 dBi for 5 GHz, allowing balanced coverage and good performance in dense environments. The unit is powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology, accepting 802.3af/at power with input voltages between 17 and 57 V and passive PoE output up to 57 V, facilitating installation in locations with limited electrical wiring. The concurrent dual band wireless radio supports dual chain 2 GHz 802.11b/g/n and 5 GHz in a/n/ас standards, and will provide coverage in 360 degrees around it. Even though the radio supports repeater mode, the two Ethernet ports give you the ability to extend your network with cables, even if PoE power is required, since the cAP ac supports 802.3af/at PoE input on the first port, and passive PoE output on the second port.
